Celebration of Infant Baptism Infant baptisms are usually celebrated during one of the Masses on the second weekend of the month. Parents prepare for the sacrament through an interview and a baptism class. Contact Fr. Carlito Saballo after your child is born to schedule the session. Becoming Catholic The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) RCIA is the process for becoming Catholic as an adult. If you or someone you know is interested in this process, please contact the Parish Office at: [email protected] or (816) 931-4351 for more information. Each summer, we hold Inquiry Nights for persons interested in the RCIA process. There is no commitment; it is simply an opportunity to begin learning. The RCIA process begins in September and lasts until the Feast of Pentecost. Those who do decide they are being called to become Catholic celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
