RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process through which adults learn about the Catholic faith and prepare to become members of the Catholic Church. It is designed for those who have never been baptized, those baptized in another Christian tradition, or baptized Catholics who have not yet received all their sacraments.
Through a welcoming and supportive community, participants explore Scripture, Church teachings, prayer, and the meaning of the sacraments. RCIA includes several stages of formation, culminating in the celebration of initiation—typically at Easter—when participants receive Baptism (if needed), Confirmation, and Eucharist. RCIA is not just a class, but a spiritual journey of faith, conversion, and belonging. |
